OMG, we made it to Christmas! I took the above photo this past winter standing on the sidewalk looking at the festive display window at Pete’s Tavern in Gramercy Park. I can’t think of any image cheerier than this to send greetings to all my readers. Have a peaceful and happy holiday, everyone. The best is yet to come.

Lesson Learned: Even when you cross on a green light, always look both ways before entering the street, and again before arriving at the other side of the street to check for speeding, lawless, idiot cyclists that could take you down or kill you. Stay safe out there.
