Recently, I was honored and delighted to be invited by Keefy of the amazing Ghost Cult Magazine to join a cavalcade of Metal journalist luminaries from around the globe for a lively roundtable on the final shows ever from KISS (which took place this past weekend at NYC’s Madison Square Garden)! In this hour-long video, we debated whether  the KISS farewell tour was a successful or a controversial exit. Was it a perfect ending to an iconic band, or did they go too far?

Worleygig.com Celebrates Nineteen Years on The Web!

19 and fabulous
Hey, Nineteen!

Wow, it looks like this fabulous Gig of mine, which started out life as a print column back in the ‘90s — when I was still interviewing Rock Stars at a pretty steady clip — is closing in on (nearly) two full decades of me bringing my own brand of special radness to the Webiverse. Worleygig launched on June 10th way back in 2003! It has been sweet ride.

Please wish us a Happy Birthday by kindly following The ‘Gig on our Social Media accounts, (if you aren’t already doing so) at the following Links:

Worley Gig Gets A Spring Makeover!

New Worleygig Banner

It’s time again to do our Spring Cleaning, so maybe you’ve noticed (or maybe not) that we underwent a recent facelift in the form of changing WordPress themes after using the same one since our last upgrade in 2013! Wow, it seems like just yesterday. The new theme is a continuation of our ongoing site improvements that we announced on our 17 year blogiversary last June. Aside from a font change, you’ll notice that those site features formerly residing on the right side of our home page have moved to over to the left, leaving us with an expanse of new real estate to develop — yay! Who knows what will come next? I can only promise that it will be excellent. Have a look around at our new design and let us know what you think in the comments!

Did you ever wonder what I was like when I was five years old, how I got started writing, how many Rock Stars I’m friends with, and how The WorleyGig brand came to be? Wonder no longer, because these mysteries and more have been revealed in an exclusive, in-depth interview I recently did with writer and artist Megan J. Meehan for the Medium.com blogging platform. Check it out now at This Link!

WorleyGig Has Reached 6,000 Posts!

 twg blogging milestone graphic

It came as a bit of a surprise to notice that, while checking our stats on the evening of October 6th, that this little blog of mine — still going strong for 17 years on the web and counting — has reached a milestone goal of 6,000 posts published! I wanted to wait until today to celebrate, so as to not steal the thunder of the tragic passing of the great Edward Van Halen, who shall be missed on this earthly plane, but whose musical legacy is immortal. Thanks for reading!
