The iconic Hand Chair was designed by Pedro Friedeberg, a Mexican surrealist artist and designer. This whimsical chair, where the palm forms the seat and the fingers act as the backrest, became a symbol of the 1960s and 1970s era of playful and avant-garde design. We were extra lucky that these chairs just happened to be a very hot shade of Pink!
Friedeberg’s work is known for its blend of surrealism, humor, and meticulous craftsmanship, and the Hand Chair remains one of his most famous creations.
Photographed in Homegoods in La Canada Flintridge, California.
