The annual Five Points FestivalDesigner Toy and Comic Show is coming up this weekend, June 1st and 2nd, and I am very excited to be attending for my second year! Coincidentally, I happened to walk by the above mural, located on Allen Street, a few weeks ago, unaware that it was originally created to honor the first-ever Five Points Fest, back in May of 2017. Apparently, the owners of the Allen Hotel reactivated a relationship with the Little Italy Street Art (LISA) Project to bring street artist KaNO to the corner of Allen and Rivington Street, and this 40-foot mural was the result!
