These treats were a playful and festive twist on the iconic marshmallows Peeps, which are typically known for their association with Easter. Torres’s version gave them a Halloween makeover, turning them into Pumpkin-man shapes. Creepy!

OK, I know Halloween was last month, but I could not resist sharing this photo of two absolutely adorable and super clever characters from the Despicable Me movie franchise (Felonious Gru and Stuart the Minion) as rendered with pumpkins! What a great idea to turn the pumpkin on its side and use its stem for Gru’s long nose! Amazing!
These pumpkins were created by Max and Marco, sons of a dear friend. Well done, guys!

Over the Columbus Day weekend, I went up to the Berkshire Mountains area of Massachusetts and spent a few glorious days enjoying the gorgeous natural surroundings and taking assloads of photos of the just-starting-to-turn fall leaves. Gorgeous! And since we are just getting into fall, and also close to Halloween, I not only saw a lot of Pumpkins but also stuff decorated like Jack O Lanterns.
