Pink Thing of The Day: Man Balancing a Large Stuffed Pink Pig on His Head

I was riding the M3 Bus uptown on Bowery coming home from Chinatown and I noticed a man, walking with his girlfriend, who was also carrying a very large, stuffed Pink Pig.

When the bus stopped at a light around 5th Street, the man suddenly put the pig on his head, balanced it perfectly, and his girlfriend took a photo. I also took a photo, or three. Because, NYC.

Pig Carrying

The light changed and the bus started moving again. The couple and their large stuffed pig continued on their way, as did I.

People say to me all the time, “Gail, where do you find the amazing Pink Things you put on your blog?” And I say to them: “I find the everywhere!” This pair of Taxidermy White Rats driving a Hot Pink Sports Car (yes, I just typed that) was spotted in the gift shop at the Morbid Anatomy Museum in Brooklyn. I did not ask if it was actually for sale.

This Giant Banana with a villainous, handlebar Moustache  was spotted sitting on the sidewalk outside The Church of the Immaculate Conception on 14th Street just east of First Avenue, being part of the church’s weekly weekend rummage sale. I hope he found a good home.

Yeah, you know what it is. This Pink Popsicle-Shaped Vibrator takes the words ‘Adult Novelty’ to a new level! Geoffrey and I spotted this fun thing in the Gift Shop when we visited the Museum of Sex recently. I didn’t check the price, but it looked like one of the more straightforward toys on the shelf, in that I don’t think I would need a set of instructions to figure out how to use it, which is advantageous.
