According to the Inter Webs, this SpongeBob Square Pants Mail Box is a lone survivor from a December 2013 campaign by the Nickelodeon Kids Network and the USPS to get kids to write more letters. Or something like that. Spotted on Fifth Avenue at the corner of 49th Street, right by Saks Fifth Avenue!
