Who doesn’t love a good throne? I wasn’t expecting to encounter three fabulous hot-pink throne chairs when I visited the Summer Fancy Food Show in June, but there they were, presiding over the Diva Delights‘ booth like the seating area of a very glamorous destination.

This cookie brand went all-in on its diva theme, creating a sleek black-and-gold booth complete with crystal drop lighting fixtures, a dramatic gold-and-black logo backdrop, a jeweled-pen giveaway and these spectacular Pink-and-Gold High-Back Throne Chairs. The cookies stepped aside for a moment: I absolutely had to take a picture of these chairs!

The chairs themselves are classic French/Baroque-style throne chairs, with towering upholstered backs, deeply tufted pink seats and backs, elaborate carved gold frames and ornate scrolling details. The tufting is finished with jewel-like buttons that add even more sparkle to an already over-the-top design. Similar chairs are commonly available through event-rental companies, where they’re marketed as pink-and-gold or hot-pink throne chairs for weddings, parties, photo shoots and other occasions where ordinary seating simply won’t do.

I love that Diva Delights didn’t just stack boxes and a plate of their cookies on a table and call it a booth. Instead, they created an entire little pink-and-gold royal court  where these chairs were definitely the stars of the show. The  gorgeous and comfy-looking trio was ideal for drawing  weary attendees into the booth to rest and capture the moment, because these delicious cookies deserved to be enjoyed from a throne.
