This photo is pulled from an 1977 Slingerland Drum Advertisement for their custom wrap kit, where they’d make shell wraps with whatever image you wanted on them. I’m not sure if some clever drummer out there actually made a Coca Cola Kit, but the photo sure is cool!

Pink Thing of The Day: Neal Smith Vintage Premier Drum Ad!

Currently Up for Auction on eBay: This vintage (circa 1973) Premier Drum Ad ran in all of the popular music magazines during the global Billion Dollar Babies tour featuring the original band called Alice Cooper. This Ad is signed personally by R&R Hall Of Fame inductee, drummer Neal Smith and is surely a very rare piece of Seventies Glam Rock History. The Auction runs through Monday December 9th, 2013.
Pink Thing of The Day: Vintage 1950s Bathroom
I moved into the house I grew up in during the early ’60s. Our house was considered to be very “Modern” for the time, and we weren’t lucky enough to have pink bathroom fixtures, but I had a few friends whose family bathrooms looked a lot like this. Me = jealous.
