You can see this colorful mural of the Sith Lord Vader (by Street Artist Huetek) in First Street Green Art Park, which is located on the north side of E. Houston Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan. You can also enter at 33 East 1st Street, which is the official address. The murals change frequently, so if you want to see this one, don’t wait too long!

Mechanical Wasp Mural By Ludo
This cool mural of what I’d call a Mechanical Wasp (though I don’t know the mural’s official title, or even if it has one) is painted on the side of the apartment building at 62 Avenue B, near 5th Street, in the East Village. It was created by the artist Ludo for the Lo Man Art Festival in August of 2015.

Black Flag Wall Mural, East Village NYC
What a nice surprise it was to find this huge mural by legendary Black Flag logo designer and flyer artist, Raymond Pettibon, adorning a wall of the backyard patio (reserved for smokers, although it was vacant when this picture was snapped) at the Double Down Saloon when we were there drinking happily last evening. Born Raymond Ginn in 1957, Pettibon is of course the younger brother of Black Flag guitarist and primary songwriter Greg Ginn. Trivia!
The Double Down Saloon is located at 14 Ave. A, just north of Houston, in the East Village, NYC
