For his contribution to 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries — an immersive exhibit celebrating Louis Vuitton’s 200th Birthday — artist and founder of Brooklyn Balloon Company Robert Moy molded ordinary rubber balloons into a sculpture that reveals the pliability and shape-shifting capabilities of the colorful birthday party decorations. Pink Thing of The Day: Woman in Tight Pink Vinyl Pants

The very nature the Spy Pic is that there’s maybe a split-second to successfully capture the OMG Moment before said moment is lost to memory forever. You can’t wait for a perfect scenario when you must act with lightning speed. That’s why my pretty groovy shot of this curvaceous woman (who is definitely not Kim Kardashian) wearing possibly the most skin-tight pair of Hot Pink Vinyl Pants imaginable has a bunch of other unglamorous nobodies in the frame; it  simply could not be helped. Still, worth it.

Photographed at the Louis Vuitton 220 Trunks, 200 Visionaries Exhibit in NYC.

Instagram Photo of The Week: Gail at the Louis Vuitton 200 Trunks Exhibit

I spent a couple  of very fun and visually stimulating hours yesterday at the Louis Vuitton: 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries exhibit, which is staged across three floors at the former location of Barneys on Madison Avenue and 61st Street. Admission is free and you can reserve your timed entry at This Link! This experience  is very highly recommended by me!

In case you’re curious, the trunk featured in this room, by photographer Francesca Sorrenti, is below.

Pink Thing of The Day: Pink Designer Hand Grenade!

Pink LV Hand Grenade

This Hot Pink Louis Vuitton-branded Hand Grenade is the work of artist Emil Armendariz (AKA Mr. Debonair) who became renowned in the world of contemporary art by mixing luxury brands with firearms and grenades to create unique works of art. Mr. Debonair’s particular mix of war and high fashion creates unique works art in his old-school, handcrafted artistic style. I mean, check out that high-gloss paint job!

Each design is numbered and very limited, and every single grenade is hand painted and signed by the artist. This beauty was spotted at the Fall 2018 Affordable Art Fair in NYC and is priced to own at just $1,200  from the Evan Lurie Gallary of Carmel, Indiana!
