Meet my new friend, Cliff. Cliff was just born in May so you can see he is still quite small, and yet, exceptionally cute. In fact, I believe he may be the cutest baby ever in the universe of all time. In this picture you can see Cliff looking stylish in an outfit I purchased for him at Old Navy on 6th Avenue here in Manhattan. Looking good, Cliff!

I’m a big fan and supporter of Myspace. I appreciate getting the love and props from all my friends of varying degrees just as much as anybody on one of these online networking sites. But let’s face cold hard facts: some things are just getting way out of hand around here and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.

It’s been traumatic enough for me to handle the fact that CBS couldn’t even get their shit together to air a season of either The Amazing Race or Survivor this summer. That’s just plain lazy. But I realized that summer 2005’s TV programming had hit really hit bottom and stared to dig when I found myself tuning in to the premiere of NBC’s Tommy Lee Goes To College this past Tuesday.

Tool of the Month: Frankie Gray!

I recently received an unsolicited  email from a guy named Frank Gray (aka Frankie Tee, represented above by the best I Am A Tool Meme I could find on the inter webs) who is a musician in NYC specializing in the saxophone. Frank recently wrote me an obscenely vulgar hate mail that was typed ALL IN CAPS (signifying great eloquence and small penis syndrome ). I deleted it because it was so horrifying, but now I wish I had kept it, to print here verbatim. Frank didn’t sign his email, but all I had to do was Google his email address (duh) to bring up his Geocities Website, which is now offline. Tool.

Like most singer-songwriters, I prefer to handle as few non-music-related tasks as possible. When it comes to writing my bio or press releases, it's nice to know that I can turn to Gail for consistently high quality work completed in a timely fashion. Gail is courteous, professional and easy to reach once the job is done. Anytime I have contacted her for a referral or guidance, she has always done her best to help me as soon as possible. These qualities make Gail a rare gem not only in the music business, but in any business for that matter!
