Top Ten Photos of Pumpkin Things That I Took in The Berkshires
Over the Columbus Day weekend, I went up to the Berkshire Mountains area of Massachusetts and spent a few glorious days enjoying the gorgeous natural surroundings and taking assloads of photos of the just-starting-to-turn fall leaves. Gorgeous! And since we are just getting into fall, and also close to Halloween, I not only saw a lot of Pumpkins but also stuff decorated like Jack O Lanterns. For the purpose of this post, a Pumpkin and Jack O Lantern will be considered the same thing. Please enjoy my photos!

Ball of Pig Heads
This Ball of Pig Heads was made to celebrate Année du Cochon, or The Year of The Pig, in Chinese Astrology. I Like It.
Mave Hotel NYC, Lobby Display
On the way from one event to another this past week, we passed by the Mave Hotel, located on Madison Avenue at the corner of 27th Street, and were instantly attracted to this display of inflated red and white balloons they have strewn across the floor in an inaccessible part of the hotel lobby, just off the main entrance from the street. Charming!
Paul Kolker’s Halftones and Ishidots…The New Abstract!
At his eponymous gallery on West 25th Street, painter/sculptor Paul Kolker has launched his return to both abstract painting and light sculpture with his yearlong series entitled The New Abstract!. This is an exhibit that we literally stumbled onto during our May 1st art crawl, and what a cool find it turned out to be!
