Unless I am in some kind of crazy hurry, getting temporarily lost or misdirected in NYC is always a blessing, because it allows me to stumble upon amazing finds like this fantastic Neon Tiger. I spotted this beauty, from the sidewalk, inside a casual-menswear boutique called Blue In Green, which is located on Greene Street, one block north of Canal, in SoHo. Grrr.

Street art fans already know that the neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn, with its artist-friendly rent and budding gallery scene, is also one of the hottest, most fertile areas in NYC to find amazing new street art popping up virtually everywhere you look. Appropriately, BKLYN House, an affordable new hotel, which had its soft opening in December, 2015, is providing a dynamic venue for showcasing the work of many of Brooklyn’s local artists.

Mave Hotel NYC, Lobby Display
On the way from one event to another this past week, we passed by the Mave Hotel, located on Madison Avenue at the corner of 27th Street, and were instantly attracted to this display of inflated red and white balloons they have strewn across the floor in an inaccessible part of the hotel lobby, just off the main entrance from the street. Charming!
