I am here to tell you that you will have lots of fun perusing the results of a Google search with the terms: Oversized Plush Creature With a Cheeseburger Head. What is this thing? I spotted these two Ladies keeping company with the Cheeseburger-headed creature of unknown origin from across the platform while I waited for the F Train at the 42nd Street/Bryant Park station. Fish Tile Mosaic at Delancey Street Subway Station
The Delancey and Essex Street Station is home to the J, M, Z, and F Trains, and also this colorful glass mosaic mural of two fish, which appear to be swimming on the surface of the water. Fun! Continue reading Fish Tile Mosaic at Delancey Street Subway Station

Big Fat Snowman in Chinatown

Geoffrey and I got off the F train at the East Broadway stop last evening, enroute an art exhibit for Anthony Michael Sneed when we bumped right into this awesome snowman guarding the corner of Essex and Canal. I’ve kept this picture on the large side so you can see the details, including its tomato buttons and traffic cone hat emblazoned with Chinese characters. Fat Snowman! I know everyone loves to bitch and moan about the snow here in NYC but stuff like this makes it all worth it. And you know what? Youâll probably miss it when itâs gone (sort of, not really).
