Iconic Film Critic and author Roger Ebert passed away today, April 4th, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 70 years old. The Chicago Tribune, has a loving obit at This Link. RIP Roger, I miss you already.
When you’ve watched as many cake baking competition shows as I have, you know how hard it is to deliberately make a cake that looks like it’s falling apart, but really isn’t. ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) has announced that Oscarand Golden Globe-winning composer Trent Reznor will be honored with an ASCAP Film Music Award at the 26th Annual ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards. The black-tie gala salutes those ASCAP composers whose music was featured in the top box office films and top television series of 2010. Reznor is being honored for The Social Network.
