OK, you can probably tell that this not a “proper” Pink Origami Dinosaur but, rather, what is meant to appear as a Dinosaur Wrapped in Pink Paper, as if it were gift waiting under the Christmas Tree! Other pink-wrapped gifts include a Guitar, a Swan Pool Floatie, a Globe, a Bicycle and a Cactus, among other items easily identified by their distinctive shapes.
We passed by the Balloon Saloon — the store dominates the northeast corner of West Broadway and Duane Streets in Tribeca — on the way to dine at The Odeon Bistro, and just had to stop and take a few photos. Balloon Saloon, which sells all kinds of inflatables, and also delivers every configuration of balloon clusters that you can imagine, was evidently voted The Most Fun Store in NYC; and you don’t even have to enter the store to see why. We found this guy at ICFF, hanging out in the booth for Sunny Life of Sydney, Australia; a company that seems to represent a lot of neat products associated with Summer. Summer!
