While digging around for a stock image (don’t even ask what I was searching for), I stumbled across something so gloriously random I had to share: Barbie, dressed as one of Santa’s Helpers, hovering over a tiny toilet bowl. Clearly, she’s here to remind us all not to overdo it at those holiday parties. Pace yourself, people—no one wants to end up on the Naughty List like Barbie!
Just when you thought it was safe to go shopping for holiday cards, this seasonal twist on the iconic Jaws poster swaps horror for . . . humor. Here we see a festive, Santa hat-sporting shark lurking beneath the waves, ready to feast on a blissfully unaware antler-clad swimmer because no-one warmed her that Santa Jaws was coming to town — and suddenly, CHOMP! This card is the perfect mix of holly and jaws-olly.

Seasons Beatings, Dear Readers. Is the sending of Christmas / Holiday cards something you enjoy doing? I generally do. I don’t think I’ve missed a year of mailing out dozens of cards to friends and family since I moved to NYC 32 years ago. But this year it’s been difficult to rustle-up the energy to get the card-sending thing together. Confession: that’s mostly due to my lack of access to a printer for creating the address labels, and the fact that my hands don’t work quite as well as they used to for holding a pen for hours on end.
