I had so much fun at Anime NYC taking photos of every adorable thing that met my eyes, one of which was this Pink Pony Club sticker from Rolly Poly Studios; a private pottery studio located in Queens, NY that makes extremely cute pottery items and stickers! Squee! In my experience, references to a Pink Pony are generally associated with something quite sexy. However, there’s also a popular song from 2020 by singer Chappell Roan called “Pink Pony Club,” and I think the sticker has a connection to that song, from the evidence presented here. Ride on!

When David Bowie was alive, he spent his time in NYC living in the SoHo neighborhood; specifically, in a luxury apartment building located at 285 Lafayette Street. Since Bowie’s passing in 2016, various pieces of street art have popped up on the block as a continuing homage to the late icon. The mural above is the latest. At first glance, it looks like just a random collage of images with the featured one being some sort of monster or alien being.
