Hey do you remember back in 2011 and 2012, when the Moustache Man was all over the city, writing the word “Moustache” in the shape of a moustache on the upper lips of models in ads in the subway and everywhere? I sure do. Well, the mad Moustache Tagger has returned, as evidenced by a tagged a row of Revolve Clothing Ads all along East 14th Street, where they are getting ready to demolish everything to put up luxury housing that no one in this neighborhood can afford. Moustache!
Product Review: Daiya Dairy-Free Strawberry Cream Cheese Style Spread

Do you like cream cheese? I sure do. And if it’s got some fruit in it, all the better. I first heard about Daiya Dairy Free Cream Cheese Spreads at last Summer’s Food Fete and I became an instant fan!
After a bit of searching, I was recently able to locate Daiya‘s Strawberry Cream Cheese Style Spread at Whole Foods on 14th Street and have been enjoying it on my morning toast.
It Looks Pretty Good, Right?
This spread has an authentic, cream cheese tanginess with a not-too-sweet flavor of real strawberries mixed in. The texture is very smooth and creamy, and it spreads easily without tearing the bread — which can sometimes be an issue with regular cream cheese. Daiya also makes this spread in Plain and Chive and Onion flavors, which would be great for use in making savory party snacks!
And while it tastes great on a toasted bagel or English Muffin, it can be used as a substitute in any recipe that calls for Cream Cheese, so feel free to get creative! SantaCon 2013 Descends on NYC

As the first official snowfall of the season accumulates on the streets of Manhattan, thousands of what I like to call “Frat Santas” have descended on our fair Metropolis to participate in the annual Pub Crawl ritual known euphemistically as SantaCon. Dressed in the manner of Santa Claus (give or take a White Beard or Red Hat) these people have only one goal: to get as wasted as possible while disguised as Jolly Old St. Nick. Be forewarned: As you navigate the sidewalks and gutters, be wary of spontaneously created piles of fresh yellow snow and be extra careful not to slip in the Times Square Eggnog!
