WorleyGig Has Reached 6,000 Posts!

It came as a bit of a surprise to notice that, while checking our stats on the evening of October 6th, that this little blog of mine — still going strong for 17 years on the web and counting — has reached a milestone goal of 6,000 posts published! I wanted to wait until today to celebrate, so as to not steal the thunder of the tragic passing of the great Edward Van Halen, who shall be missed on this earthly plane, but whose musical legacy is immortal. Being a bit of a foodie, but also someone who is not very experimental when it comes to my own cooking, the thing I miss most since NYC went into lockdown is eating a variety of foods. Fortunately, there are many tasty frozen food options (especially when you are looking for breakfast foods that are different, tasty, and also convenient) and one of my favorite discoveries is Bantam Bagels stuffed bagel bites.

I was first turned-on to  Bantam Bagels delicious mini stuffed-bagels at the Summer Fancy Food Show in 2018, where I was blown away by the innovative taste of oven- toasted bagels stuffed with scrambled eggs and cheese. Facebook To Worley Gig: Fuck You

Monday morning, with zero warning or valid cause, Facebook deleted 99% of the posted content on the two fan pages I’d been maintaining on that platform (one for more than a decade) in order to promote this blog’s content to my fans and friends. To add insult to injury, they also deleted every post on my personal page that linked to content on Worleygig.com, thus completely obliterating my creative presence on Facebook.
