This Twiggy London Girl Dress (1966) was part of a product line by British teenage model Twiggy, so nicknamed due to her skinny, twig-like frame. The short, A-line construction plays on the silhouette that many designers were working with during the 1960s to free wearers from the heavily structured styles of the previous decade.

Lucy Jones creates fashionable garments for wheelchair users and people with diverse abilities who sit for extended hours at a time, as both groups of people are often unable to consume mainstream fashion. Movie Review: Raw

Raw Movie Poster

If you enjoyed Netflix’s cannibal-themed comedy series, The Santa Clarita Diet, but just wish it featured more of the erotic sexual violence seen in the 2001 thriller Trouble Every Day, while also dishing up a plot that is more deeply-steeped in body horror, dark family secrets, and general fucked-up-edness, a new French horror film, Raw, may satisfy that craving. Gold Mannequin Torso 1

I can’t say if the black magic marker designs on the nipples is part of the artwork, or just the evidence of neighborhood teenage boys acting like juvenile idiots.

Gold Mannequin Torso Back

She had additional “comments” scrawled in the same black marker on her backside. I can only assume they were rude in nature.

Gold Mannequin Torso Upshot

I hope an artist found her and took her home.

If you’re intrigued by the concept of IKEA and Urban Outfitters collaborating with the snarky minds behind The Onion and TrustoCorp, then DISown – Not For Everyone is a new pop up art installation that you might want to check out. DISown – Not For Everyone is an art exhibition posing as a retail store, but the fact that the display racks of hipster work out clothes and attractively arranged shelves featuring designer household objects (Think: Jonathan Adler) looks and feels so familiar that the “joke” (if you even want to call it that) is not necessarily obvious.
