Do you like Chips? I sure do, and I am always looking for new varieties of Chips to snack on that are not only made with natural ingredients but are also prepared in an alternate way to deep frying. At a recent food trade show, I was turned on to a new chip snack that not only tastes amazing, but is a healthier snacking choice: Good Natured Selects Baked Vegetable Crisps! Aside from the fact that each one ounce bag contains one-half serving of vegetables, these Chips are awesome on so many levels.

Good Natured Selects (a Herr Foods company) has recently introduced two new varieties of their Baked Vegetable Crisps: Regular and Ranch. The Ranch flavor, which are lightly dusted with a tangy Ranch dressing seasoning, reminds me of a Sour Cream and Onion Dip flavored chip, which goes great with light meals such as burgers and sandwiches. Both varieties of these light and crispy chips have a wonderful vegetable taste with the appealing texture of a Ridged Potato Chip — which makes them sturdy and ideal for dipping!

Vegetable Crisps are made with Carrots, Red Bell Pepper and Spinach, and the carrots give the chip a flavor comparable to Sweet Potato Chips, which are delicious! You can actually see the bits of vegetable baked right into the chip! Another appealing quality of Good Natured snacks is that that are gluten-free. Since I had receive multiple bags of Vegetable Crisps to review, I brought them in to my office to share. One of my co-workers, who is gluten free due to Celiac Disease, was familiar with the Crisps and raved about their delicious taste, which had already made him a fan!

All Good Natured Selects products are made with no artificial ingredients or added preservatives and contain zero grams of fat. But what’s most important is that they taste great! Find out more about Good Natured Selects Baked Vegetable Crisps and other products at This Link!

Do you like to snack? I sure do. I am too lazy to wash and peel fresh fruit, so, ideally, my go-to snacks tend to be packaged and ready to serve. I generally try to snack on nuts or whole grain chips, which are convenient and delicious. But often I just become unimaginative when it comes to choosing snacks that are safe to keep in the house (i.e. not cake, a thing over which I have no self control). And then I get bored. Sigh.

Sweet Potato Chips

Do you like chips? I sure do. One kind of chip I really enjoy is the Sweet Potato Chip, because they are so very delicious. I believe that is was at the recent Summer Fancy Food Show where I picked up a sample bag of One Potato Two Potato brand Sweet Potato Chips, and subsequently fell in love with this tasty and all natural snack. Tasty Snack of The Day: Mediterranean Snacks Baked Lentil Chips

When it comes to salty snacks, I’m more of a chip fan than a cracker lover. The only downside of chips is that sometimes they are too fragile to bear the weight of the heartier dips, such as hummus or even a thick sour cream dip. And chips that break off in the dip bowl can be a drag. Continue reading Tasty Snack of The Day: Mediterranean Snacks Baked Lentil Chips
