Santa’s Butt is a seasonal English porter brewed by Ridgeway Brewing that leans fully into holiday humor while remaining surprisingly traditional in the glass. The “butt” in question refers not only to the jolly visual of Santa perched on a barrel, but also to an old English term for a very large cask, grounding the joke in brewing history. Last December, Freeman Alley — the street art Mecca on NYC’s Lower East Side — delivered one of the most delightfully unconventional holiday installations I’ve seen in ages: a Christmas tree made entirely from empty spray paint cans. Installed at the entrance to the boutique hotel UNTITLED at 3 Freeman Alley, the piece celebrated the neighborhood’s deep connection to graffiti and street art while giving the traditional holiday tree a thoroughly urban makeover.

While digging around for a stock image (don’t even ask what I was searching for), I stumbled across something so gloriously random I had to share: Barbie, dressed as one of Santa’s Helpers, hovering over a tiny toilet bowl. Clearly, she’s here to remind us all not to overdo it at those holiday parties. Pace yourself, people—no one wants to end up on the Naughty List like Barbie!
