Yes, that is in fact Dump as the Grim Reaper himself in this expansive mural from street artist Pure.Genius. The Dump Reaper’s ignorant declaration, “Don’t be afraid of Covid,” perfectly distills his administration’s campaign of propaganda and misinformation that has lead to hundreds of thousand of needless deaths in this country to date.

Awesome Graffiti Box Truck!

The Graffiti Box Truck is not that rare of a thing in NYC: you see them all the time. What is rare is one that features contributions from maybe a half-dozen graffiti artists from across the globe. This truck features tags and murals from Scaner (Canada), Harry Bones (Spain), RASK (Los Angeles), Hoacs (NYC), MUSA (Spain) and others, and that’s just what I could see on the two sides of the truck that I was able to shoot from the sidewalk!

Banksy’s Better In Than Out at Taglialatella Galleries

Hey, did you make it to Dismaland? Neither did I, but here’s an exhibit you can see to help assuage your pain. Better In Than Out presents a comprehensive exhibition of Banksy’s artwork spanning a full decade. The exhibition includes works on paper, unique paintings and an original graffiti wall; including approximately 50 works beginning with an early-career canvas painting created in 2000 and rounded out by prints published in 2010. Most of these pieces we have seen before, but that’s what makes them classics! This showing of Bansky works celebrates the two-year anniversary of Banksy’s month-long residency in New York City.
