Outdoor dining, which because crazy popular during the Covid lockdown a few years back, has endured here in NYC — especially during the summer months, when everyone wants to eat outside. This peaceful pink scene featuring an open window, a bouquet of flowers displayed in a Flamingo vase, and the protective shade of a Pink Umbrella, was spotted outside Ladybird vegetarian restaurant in the East Village. May the summer never end.

Pink Thing of The Day: Pink Picnic Table
If you’ve visited Mass MoCA, the phenomenal contemporary art museum located in North Adams, Massachusetts, then you may recognize this Pink Picnic Table, which can be found — among picnic tables in other pastel hues — in one of the courtyard areas for the purpose of providing a colorful place for guests to have lunch or a snack, or just to sit and rest from their art adventuring, as the museum is quite huge, and covers many acres of ground.
I haven’t been able to visit this place since Covid. I really miss it.
Pink Thing Of The Day: Pink Tent for Outdoor Dining
Outdoor dining during the Covid 19 pandemic has really saved New York City, not only economically but morale-wise. I love how the little temporary dining areas that restaurants have built curbside make it seem like there’s street fair going on all the time! This Pink Tent and Picket Fence was spotted on Bleecker Street in the West Village.
Pink Thing Of The Day: Watermelon Daiquiri
If you suspect that we are getting a little bit desperate to find Pink Things for featuring in this weekly space, you would be correct. Thankfully, the Pink Drinks of summer are not only keeping us refreshed, hydrated, and slightly buzzed, but they also make a nice post, don’t they? This tall cool one is the Watermelon Daiquiri offered at Bottino Restaurant in Chelsea. Bottino specializes in delicious homemade pastas and other Italian favorites, and it has the most insanely lush backyard garden / covered patio for a safe and relaxed dining experience. At this time in our lives when little things mean so much, we look forward to a future visit!
