A Fan/Facebook friend of my pal Neal posted this awesome cake photo on his FB page for his recent Birthday, and I stole it because it is rules. The drums, cymbals and hardware all appear to be made of edible fondant, which tastes like ass but looks pretty cool.

Slayer Birthday Cake!

“Reign In Cake” (Images Courtesy of Rob Lawi)
Images seen here of this one-of-a-kind Slayer Birthday Cake were posted on the Facebook page of my friend, Rob. This cake was designed by Jessa Blavatsky, a lady who obviously knows her Metal. Awesome Slayer Cake celebrates the birthday of Jimmy Duff, owner of the Heavy Metal bar Duff’s in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Clearly, what we have here is a case of Too Much Metal for One Cake!

Happy Birthday, Axl Rose
William Bruce Bailey, also known as Axl Rose, celebrates another Birthday today, having been born on February 6th, 1962. I feel bad that Axl has lost his mind and become such a dick, but I guess we can always look back on Appetite for Destruction, which is a work of genius, and remember the good times. Happy Birthday Axl. Have some cake.
