Pink Thing of The Day: Piglet Made Of Flowers!

Piglet Made From Flowers

Here at ‘The Gig, we are having a bit of a Spring Fling, as NYC transitions from one cold, wet season to a different but almost equally cold, wet season! Why is spring in this part of the country so freaking cold? I am already over it, as the kids say! As I do whatever I can to keep the fantasy of warmer weather alive in my head, please enjoy this week’s Pink Thing: a sculpture of Winnie The Pooh’s best pal of Piglet made entirely of beautiful pink floral blooms! I took this photo at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida  one hot summer longer ago than I can remember.

Do you like Disneyland? I sure do. I’ve been going to Disney parks since I was practically an egg, and I never, ever get tired of it. I was there two summers ago with my older sister and we had so much fucking fun, our heads almost exploded. Disneyland Rules! It is largely due to my obsession with Disneyland (or DisneyWorld, whatever) that I’m very excited to tell you about an independent film I just saw called Escape From Tomorrow which was filmed Guerrilla-style almost entirely on location at Disneyland and Disneyworld! Holy shit! How did that even happen?

Worleygig.Com Reccommends: JetBlue Airlines

Folks who read this blog who also happen to be my Friend on the Facebook know that I just returned from a 12 day vacation extravaganza that included a trip to Disneyworld (super fun), a 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the totally rad Carnival Dream (crazy insane fun) and a two-day post-cruise download in beautiful downtown Orlando (very very fun). All of this fun was made possible in part by JetBlue airlines, who flew me from New York’s JFK to Florida’s MCO at an extremely competitive rate. A few other things I enjoyed about JetBlue include no charge for your first checked bag (saves an additional $25 each way, or a total of $50, which paid for my cab ride home from the airport), bigger, more comfortable seats and tasty in-flight snacks. JetBlue is also adding new destinations all the time, so there is a good chance that they fly to a few cool places that you want to visit. If your upcoming vacation plans include flight arrangements, please consider how JetBlue can make your trip easier – and more fun – and visit them at Jet Blue Dot Com.
