Dry January has become a popular way for many to detox after the indulgence of the holiday season. Sigh. Another New York Design Week has concluded and what a blast it was! We are left with a few new snazzy branded tote bags, hundreds of snaps in the iPhone, sore feet from all the walking, and memories of some terrific showroom parties, like the one I attended at Moroso on the Friday before ICFF. In addition to all of the gorgeous furniture on display, like Tokujin Yoshioka’s Bouquet Armchair seen just slightly out of focus in the above photo, Moroso’s bar had not one but two varieties of Prosecco (white and rose) on offer. I think you must agree that the Pink Prosecco fully complements the decor. Cheers!

These are amazing, aren’t they? Any cocktail would just taste better with a Pink Flamingo extending delicately from the glass. I spotted these out in San Marino, California, at Simply Fresh; a terrific store for finding fun stuff like this.
Cordials:
2 ounces orange liqueur
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 large egg white
Candy corn, for garnish
Directions Infuse the vodka: Combine the candy corn and vodka in an airtight container; set aside for at least 3 hours, then strain.
Make the cordials: Add 4 ounces of the candy corn vodka, the orange liqueur, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses and garnish with candy corn.
