Do you like Italian food? I sure do.  Since my favorite neighborhood  place closed before Covid, and Arthur Avenue is a long haul if you’re not already in the area,  I’ve been looking for a restaurant that strikes the perfect balance of location, service, atmosphere and, of course, delicious food, to steal my heart away. Since the beginning of the pandemic, about one hundred million billion years ago, one of my greatest joys in life is ordering a large pepperoni Pizza, which I eat entirely by myself, freezing the leftovers for additional meals, so that I can feel the Hot Pizza Love over and over again. For this reason I often joke (half seriously) that Pizza is My Boyfriend and no one can come between us. I admit that I was a little bit late to the party ins discovering Broad City, mostly because I had no clue it existed for the first couple of seasons. But now I’m hooked on this crazy, insanely edgy Comedy Central show about the absurdist adventures of best friends Abbi and Ilana, who may or may not be lesbians! It’s like Girls but without the HBO budget, and with less gratuitous nudity! A new season of Broad City starts on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017, so set those DVRs!
