I don’t know about you, but when I’m on my own and away from my apartment for too long, I start to feel a little bit lonely, even if I’m technically around other people. I think this is due to me being very attached to my things: specifically, my Pink Things. It’s probably no surprise to learn that the dominant colors in the Chickpad are shades of pink and bold accents of red. It is like living in a cozy pink cocoon. I love it so much.

The legendary Ziegfeld Theater closed its doors for good on Thursday, January 28th with a 10 PM sold-out showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. What a way to go!

We’d heard the rumor for just over a week that the place would be shutting down to be renovated into an event space, so Geoffrey wisely suggested we head over for a matinee of Star Wars on the day after Winter Storm Jonas dumped two feet of snow on the city. It proved to be a good call, because I had, for whatever reaosn, never been there before. Better late than never, you aren’t kidding.

Warholian Campbell’s Soup Can Lighting

Whether or not you’re thinking of them as a thematic tie in to that Warhol lithograph you’ve got hanging in the hallway, how cool would it be to have such groovy lamps illuminating your kitchen? These Pop Art pendant lights are made from recycled, industrial-sized food cans adorned with a fabricated Campbell’s Soup label replica. They are so neat! Designed by designer Willem Heeffer, specifications are below:
