Folks who read this blog who also happen to be my Friend on the Facebook know that I just returned from a 12 day vacation extravaganza that included a trip to Disneyworld (super fun), a 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the totally rad Carnival Dream (crazy insane fun) and a two-day post-cruise download in beautiful downtown Orlando (very very fun). All of this fun was made possible in part by JetBlue airlines, who flew me from New York’s JFK to Florida’s MCO at an extremely competitive rate.
One week ago today I was on holiday in Tulum, Mexico, on the Yucatan Peninsula, enjoying the most delicious fish tacos I have yet eaten. The vast Mayan Ruins which we explored were ancient and awe-inspiring, while the beach below us was a stunning white sand with crystal blue waves, but it is the fish tacos, my friends, that I will be talking about for the rest of my life. Fish Tacos!
Oh hey! In case you didn’t notice, I’ve been on vacation. Did you miss me? I just got back late last night from 3 days in New Orleans followed by a 7 Day/Night Caribbean Cruise on the lovely Carnival Triumph – the greatest ship at sea! I highly recommended a Carnival Cruise (or any cruise, but Carnival is awesome) for any vacation you might consider! I’m still getting used to not feeling the motion of the ocean! And, surprisingly, NYC feels not so humid after some of the ports I’ve been in over the past 10 days! Cruisin’!
