Talk about an “Oh Wow” factor that is just off the charts! This breathtaking, Pink Fantasy Window Display at the Buffalo Exchange vintage clothing store stopped me dead in my tracks.

As if the above Pink Apron Dress wasn’t eye-catching enough, the window dressers accessorized the mannequin’s outside with vintage toys, and more toys were strewn as the base of the display. It was like Christmas, Easter and Halloween all in one display!

On Thursday, December 18th, the Today Show will be filming at the Brooklyn Homeless Shelter, which is the new home of a giant mural project that Gigi completed in less than 6 days! Here at the Worley Gig, we are especially fond of the contemporary art that embraces both the dark and the darkly humorous. Perhaps this is the reason we are really digging the latest exhibit over at Bold Hype Gallery: Bethany Marchman’s Bless Your Heart. According to Marchman’s bio, the artist aims “to create parallels between innocence and influence / history and popular culture. [Her] paintings are reflections of the awkward changes we experience as individuals and as a society, while questioning whether or not growth is synonymous with improvement.” Interesting!
