Original Guns ‘N’ Roses Drummer Steven Adler was born on this day, January 22nd in 1965. Adler (real name: Michael Coletti) has the dubious distinction of being the first member of the band to be fired by singer Axl Rose, setting a trend that would continue until Rose was the only remaining original member left in the group by the late ’90s. Happy Birthday, Steven!
On This Day, June 12th in 1965: It was announced that The Beatles would be included in Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Honors List where each member would be become a Member of the British Empire.
