Original Guns ‘N’ Roses Drummer Steven Adler was born on this day, January 22nd in 1965. Adler (real name: Michael Coletti) has the dubious distinction of being the first member of the band to be fired by singer Axl Rose, setting a trend that would continue until Rose was the only remaining original member left in the group by the late ’90s.
