How long has it been since I featured a Bacon Thing of The Day on this site? The answer is: So very long. The wait is now over, however, as a I recently located an apprioriate Bacon Thing of The Day in the form of this teeny Plush Bacon Toy. Oh, the cuteness.

One of my favorite things about visiting Southern California has to be shopping at the massive supermarkets they have out there that are the size of a Home Depot for Food. I found today’s Pink Thing, these yummy-looking Strawberry Angel Food Mini Cakes, in the Bakery section at a Ralph’s in Montrose.
Another little known, but very fun, fact about David Bowie that has just started to make the rounds is that he designed the above Chrome-Finish Mini back in 1998-99 to celebrate the brand’s 40th Anniversary.
