Even though I usually reserve Fridays for celebrating all things rosy with my Pink Thing of the Day, I simply must give a proper shoutout to National Pink Day, even if it does fall on a Monday this year. Pink deserves the spotlight any day of the week! To mark the occasion, I’m sharing this joyful photo of Pink Gerbera Daisies (and their pink friends) snapped during a lovely spring visit to the New York Botanical Garden in May. Nature really knows how to rock a perfect pink palette. Celebrate today by adding a splash of pink to your life — whether it’s a flower, a fashion statement, or your favorite flamingo-shaped mug. Pink looks good on everyone!

National Pink Day, celebrated annually on June 23rd, holds special significance for the Worley Gig, as we are renowned for our weekly Pink Thing of the Day feature. This day is a vibrant celebration of all things pink, a color synonymous with fun, creativity, and a certain whimsical charm — qualities that Worley Gig fully embraces. While I am currently walking the floor of the Javits Center at this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show, I could not let the day slip by unacknowledged. Attention Fans of the Color Pink Everywhere, yes, it’s true: June 23rd is National Pink Day! These days, Pink has come to be associated with several social causes such as the Anti-Bullying campaign (very important) and of course, Breast Cancer Awareness. But there is nothing wrong with just taking a day out to celebrate the color Pink, which just makes everything brighter and more fun. Pink Power!
