Norman Bel Geddes (1893 – 1958) was an influential American industrial designer known for his innovative and futuristic designs in the early to mid-20th century. One of his notable creations was the Patriot radio (1940): a sleek and modern tabletop radio that showcased Geddes’ forward-thinking design sensibilities. It was a departure from the traditional boxy and ornate designs of radios at the time. Instead, Geddes envisioned a streamlined and futuristic appearance for the Patriot, incorporating modern materials and a distinct visual aesthetic.

Pink Thing of The Day: Pink Bling Panther By Dan Life
Artist and jeweler Dan Life (also known as Daniel Jacob) makes wearable art and tabletop items that glitter and shine with his hand-set crystal embellishments. This Pink Panther sculpture was spotted prowling around inside a vitrine in his booth at NY Now. I couldn’t find this exact piece on the website, but I did see a Pink Panther Head Pendant which sells for $550, if you want to check it, out at This Link!
Eye On Design: Interiors By Allison Eden Studios
Designer Allison Eden got her start over 25 years ago designing custom glass mosaics for private clients ( you can see an example of her beautiful work on the far left in the above photo). Eden then began applying her colorful, pop art aesthetic to a variety of interior finishes including textiles, wallpapers and carpets to develop one of the most fun and recognizable brands in the industry.
