SacSix is a Miami born artist now living in NYC. His #SidewalksAndIcons street art series explores pop culture icons, past and present, and their relationship with the streets of New York. This image of the late Amy Winehouse as an enhaloed Statue of Liberty was spotted on a boiler truck parked on Avenue B, across the street from Tompkins Square Park. Get a detailed look at the piece in the photo below.
I just heard that Singer Amy Winehouse has passed away today, July 23, 2011, at her home in London. Details can be found at This Link. What a sad waste of a life and a true talent. RIP Amy.
Just when Steve Tyler is finally getting clean for the umpteenth time, Urban Outfitters brings us the thrilling board game adventure, Rock Star Rehab, where the most tragic players become the most famous winners! Just roll the dice and move your drunken rocker around the board, stopping at LA nightclubs, VIP parties… even jail! The goal of the game: to make your way through Rock Star Rehab! No word yet on whether the game pieces feature miniature replicas of Amy Winehouse, Vince Neil and Pete Doherty.
“Getting Sober is Fun!”

July 9th is the Birthday of Courtney Love! I bet that every day of her life Courtney thanks God for Amy Winehouse, next to whom she can’t help but look like the paragon of tact and self-control by comparison. It’s no secret that Courtney lies about her age, so I don’t know which anniversary of birth she is “celebrating” this year, but I KNOW she’s older than me.
