Do you like Oreos? I sure do, As someone who has always been a fan, I was curious to see what all the fuss was about when Oreo recently relaunched its Cakesters with an even softer cake recipe. To celebrate, the brand opened a delightfully squishy pop-up experience called The Soft Life, and I was lucky enough to stop by and snap a few photos for this post. When I was a kid, Granola Bars – which, seriously, were just being introduced at that time – tasted like molasses covered particle board. Eventually, those dry, jaw cracking “treats” became “chewy granola bars” and continued to metamorphose until something that was supposed to be “healthy” and “natural” looked and tasted remarkably similar to a candy bar, with some rolled oats thrown in.
