Oh, the cuteness of this little bunny performing the Chinese Dragon Dance in celebration of the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rabbit! We were in Flushing Queens yesterday to attend the Big Apple Comic Con and inadvertently ended up celebrating the Chinese New Year since our subway stop was right in the heart of Chinatown! We saw a fun parade and lots of Chinese Lunar New Year cultural events inside the very modern Tangram Mall, which seems to be the social hub of this Asian neighborhood. Very fun! Â Happy New Year to all who celebrate!

Select bakers created their own unique gingerbread display to represent their respective neighborhoods, inspired by the theme Winter in New York. A group of prominent New York City-based bakers, curators, and restaurant owners judged the final designs.
I could not think of a more fun and festive way to close the year than with a walking tour of the amazing Holiday Christmas Lights on display every year in the neighborhood of Dyker Heights,Brooklyn! If you didn’t make it there this holiday season, put it on your list of things not to miss for 2023! Happy New Year, Dear Readers!

Tis the season, after all. Continue reading Marzipops Marzipan, For The Holidays!→
