American textile designer, weaver, and color authority Dorothy Liebes (1897–1972) had a profound influence across design fields, helping to shape American tastes in areas from interiors and transportation to industrial design, fashion, and film. ‘Getting Naked’ on the sofa means something entirely different when this unique piece of furniture is part of your living room. The Naked Ladies textile (the name referring to the depiction of the female form in the design) comes from Caroline Z. Hurley Studio. Featuring a repeating pattern of nude female figures in various poses, the whimsical print started out as one of Caroline’s paintings.
