As we continue into 2022 with the hope that we will be able to venture out freely, walk into our offices and attend social events, the one thing we need to focus on is our wardrobe. For many of us, the pandemic put an end to our social life and we stopped spending money on our clothes. But now it’s time to simplify our lives and get things in order — this means working on an updated wardrobe. If you are a minimalist and don’t like an overflowing closet, you may want to consider building a capsule wardrobe. Continue reading How To Build A Capsule Wardrobe That Represents Your Style

Pink Thing of The Day: Ugli Pygs Street Art

I never heard of lifestyle/clothing brand Ugli Pygs in my life before I spotted this cute Pink Pig painted on the wall adjacent to this monumental work, and decided to Google the tag Ugli Pygs so I could find out who the artist is. As it turns out, Ugli Pygs is a brand, and this little guy is its mascot. An artist name was nowhere to be found, I’m afraid.

Located on an adjacent wall, I found another Ugli Pyg, clad in a pair of tighty-whities and sporting a cape, who appears to be a super hero of some kind. The conversation bubble close by, obscured by the gate, reads “Unity is Strength . . . Division is Weakness.” Words to live by in these troubling times.

Z!NG Revolution Brand Launch Party and Ultimate Dorm Room Installation!

When I was a rebellious teenager living at home, the walls of my bedroom were plastered wall to wall, floor to ceiling with posters and photos torn from magazine pages of all of my favorite Rock Stars. I was defined as a person by the music I loved and the Rockers I worshipped, and I wanted everyone who entered my room to know it. Loud and proud! I imagine that kids today feel a similar need for self-expression, but, of course, the hyper-vigilance of marketing companies and the ubiquity of social media, propelled by the overwhelming deluge of pop culture stars, images and brands, makes the practice of tacking a Rock Star pin-up to a wall seem almost quaint and old-fashioned. Oldness!
