Multi-platform French artist Aima Saint Hunon celebrated the New York City opening of The Human Jungle, a pop-up gallery displaying her art, which took place at a two-night event in early November. The fun and festive event was hosted by JetzyApp.com and Jarlsberg® Cheese.

The videos and sculptures of Jon Rafman (b. 1981) are comprised of images that are constantly swallowing one another, much in the way that we consume media ourselves every day. In his commission for the High Line, Rafman presents a sculpture that takes the form of a circle of autophagous animals including a Dog, a Whale, a Lizard, a Pig, and a Human all looped into a speculative food chain.
Jon Rafman’s The Swallower Swallowed is part of the Group Show Mutations, and it will be on view at the High Line Park, West of 10th Avenue right at 23rd Street, Through March of 2018.

Among the many cool artworks to be found at the Crosby Street Hotel, located at 79 Crosby Street in Soho, NYC is this striking, 10 foot high Jaume Plensa steel sculpture of a human head created from letters of the alphabet. The unique sculpture sits in the hotel’s front lobby, along with this very fun Pug Lamp.

To make Cost of Living (2014) and other works in this series, Josh Kline interviewed workers – janitorial staff and package delivers – and then made casts of their body parts that they used to complete their daily tasks.
