Hans Wegner (1914–2007) was a Danish furniture designer known for his iconic mid-century modern designs, of which the Peacock Easy Chair (model JH521), is a classic example. The Easy Chair, Peacock model is a variation of his iconic Peacock Chair (model JH550, designed in 1947), which is highly-regarded for its unique and visually striking backrest, resembling the graceful fan of a peacock’s tail feathers.

Eye On Design: Randy Polumbo, Flamenco Sculptural Floor Lamp
The works of artist / designer Randy Polumbo are rooted in shapes and concepts that combine the organic with the cosmic, magical, and supernatural. His 2022 Flamenco sculptural floor lamp is instantly recognizable as part of his oeuvre for its hammered aluminum base and colorful hand-blown glass branches and bulbs that resemble sex toys.

Eye On Design: Club Chairs By Paul László
Paul László ( February 6th, 1900 – March 27th, 1993) was a Hungarian-born architect and interior designer whose work spanned eight decades and many countries. László built his reputation while designing interiors for houses, but in the 1960s he largely shifted his focus to the design of retail and commercial interiors. This pair of side chars from 1947, spotted in the Donzella booth at the 2022 Salon Art + Design are an excellent example of his design aesthetic
