Artist and jeweler Dan Life (also known as Daniel Jacob) makes wearable art and tabletop items that glitter and shine with his hand-set crystal embellishments. This Pink Panther sculpture was spotted prowling around inside a vitrine in his booth at NY Now. I couldn’t find this exact piece on the website, but I did see a Pink Panther Head Pendant which sells for $550, if you want to check it, out at This Link!

There’s some new wildlife prowling around the Park Avenue Malls between 34th and 38th Streets, but it’s no reason for alarm. These creatures — which range from Gorillas and Buffalos to a T Rex and Saber Tooth Tiger are part of a public art installation sponsored by Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA). French / Tunisian artist Idriss B has created a fantastical menagerie in his signature origami-like, polygonal style, which has taken up residence in the Murray Hill-adjacent neighborhood for a full year. Pink Thing Of The Day: Party Pig!
This small toy figure of a Pig in a Pink Party Hat and matching festive outfit (or simply, Party Pig, as I enjoy calling him) was gifted to me by a friend on my most recent birthday. Currently, he hangs out in my living room near the stereo. A little Googling reveals that he is part of a 5-piece set of animal mini figures called Party Farm from Bullseye’s Playground. The set was originally sold by Target in November of 2021 and is now (understandably) sold out, but you can still find it for sale on eBay and other similar sites.

Shark Attack Megalodon Model!
Do you like Sharks? I sure do. That’s why I Â could. not. stop. taking photos of this life-size (read: humungous) model a prehistoric Megalodon Shark, which is a main attraction of the recently opened Sharks special exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in NYC. Here are some cool Megalodon facts I learned while exploring the exhibit.
