The Adda Dolce model sofa is, in essence, a stylistic impersonation of the idea of femininity – and the supporting arguments are many. The voluptuous shape, the perfect curves, the delicious pink color complemented by the botanical-referencing textile print, subtly wavy and elegant, would be just a few of them.

One of my favorite places to visit when I am a tourist in any city, if it exists in that city, is an Aquarium. Once I’m inside, I immediately head to the jellyfish tank, to be mesmerized by the beauty and motion of these mysterious sea creatures. It is no surprise then that I was immediately drawn to the Merenda Wallpaper booth at the recent ICFF / NYCxDesign event when I saw their fantastic wallpaper covered with exotic Jellyfish; a design which they call Medusa. Lets take a closer look.

The annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), is the showcase event of New York Design Week and by definition a fantastic place to see all of the latest trends in furniture and interior design. It’s also an ideal venue for spotting some of the coolest-looking and most sharply dressed people in Manhattan at any given time. Look at this handsome gentleman in his Hot Pink Suit, accented by a revealingly-ripped white T-shirt, with pristine white sneakers completing the outfit. He looks amazing! Thank you, unidentified man, for posing for me in your fabulous Pink Suit, and for being this week’s Pink Thing of The Day!

Industrial designer Joey Zeledón used Bauhaus Leglend Marcel Breuer’s ‘Cesca chair as a inspiration for this innovative seating design that combines the famliar continuous steel rod frame with colorful coat hangers replacing the classic cane seat and back. Spotted at 2023’s International Conetmporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), the Coat Check Chair allows the user many possibilites for personalizing the frame to suit their taste.

With the dream of owning a huge house comes the anticipation of an expansive back yard, where you can extend your design aesthetic into your outdoor spaces with amazing furniture. I first saw Opiary Design’s Drillium Chair at ICFF 2021; snapping a few photos and making a mental note to find out more about this exciting ‘green’ design.
