Product Review: Good Karma Non-Dairy Yogurt
More and more it seems, food allergies or intolerances to commonly used ingredients such as nuts, wheat, soy and dairy no longer have to keep you from indulging in your favorite foods. For example, Yogurt lovers who have been missing out on this creamy treat due to a lactose intolerance can now enjoy healthy and great tasting Good Karma dairy-free yogurt, which I recently had the chance to taste test at home, after first meeting product representatives last summer at a food show.

Pink Thing of The Day: Strawberry Angel Food Mini Cakes
One of my favorite things about visiting Southern California has to be shopping at the massive supermarkets they have out there that are the size of a Home Depot for Food. I found today’s Pink Thing, these yummy-looking Strawberry Angel Food Mini Cakes, in the Bakery section at a Ralph’s in Montrose.

Hey, did you make it to Dismaland? Neither did I, but here’s an exhibit you can see to help assuage your pain. Better In Than Out presents a comprehensive exhibition of Banksy’s artwork spanning a full decade. The exhibition includes works on paper, unique paintings and an original graffiti wall; including approximately 50 works beginning with an early-career canvas painting created in 2000 and rounded out by prints published in 2010. Most of these pieces we have seen before, but that’s what makes them classics! This showing of Bansky works celebrates the two-year anniversary of Banksy’s month-long residency in New York City.

Yes, It Exists: Andes Mint Suspended in Strawberry Jello
The awesome photo above was posted on FaceBook over the weekend by my neighbor and friend, Mary. The photograph clearly depicts a festive and inarguably unique dessert prepared by Mary’s mom, which consists of strawberry Jello gelatin dessert studded with delicious Andes chocolate mint candies. Mary says her brother in law nailed it when he described the flavor as being similar to “eating an apple while brushing your teeth.” Eeeexcellent.
